Employee Recognition

Employees are the most valuable assets any organization will have, and finding,
training, developing, and keeping good people is difficult and a costly process.

Every time you have to hire someone there is an expense which can range
from $1000 to a third of the person’s annual income. The greater the skill of the
person results in higher costs to replace them. Keeping good people is a lot
cheaper that trying to replace them.

Every accident, absence, error, delay is another added cost to an operation and
in today’s business climate, you need to be making positive changes in every
step of the process to keep your head above water.

We have to admit most people, and I mean most, do not work at their true
potential and abilities. Many folks work at the pace that is accepted and at a pace
which they remain below the radar. Not too much and not too little is where most
will try to remain.

Employee recognition programs, when properly designed and executed, have
had great success in making many of these “in the middle” employees step out of
that zone and start to become more productive and more motivated to succeed
at whatever their jobs are.

If your employees have the ability to do better and are not doing their best, then
they are not motivated. Ability X Motivation = Productivity!

Now, imagine what the effects of a motivated team would mean for your
company. Increased Productivity, Reduced Accidents, Less Turnover, Fewer
Absences, Increased Wellness, a Pumped-Up sales team all these have a
positive effect in mind and in the bank.

If you could, what would you change with your employees and staff?
What are they not doing that is costing you in increased operating cost and other
expenses?

Employee Recognition is focused upon Recognizing and Rewarded the Positive
Behaviors you seek and need from your team. Most often we find that a budget
of $0.10 to $0.15 per hour is sufficient to address most blue collar incentive
solutions.
